"Helpful updates, but they can be a little late"
They do share updates about bus delays and route changes, which is definitely useful when it's accurate. But sometimes I only notice the update after I’m already standing there waiting, which is frustrating, right? I just wish the disruption info came through a bit faster so you could actually plan around it...

"Buses actually seem on time lately"
I don’t know if I’ve just been lucky or what, but the buses have been showing up on time for me lately. A few early mornings, I checked the app and, to my surprise, it actually arrived when it said it would. Maybe it’s not like that for everyone, but for my trips, that’s really all I need. No standing around wondering. 5 stars for punctuality from me.
"Simple travel info, oddly hard to get"
I use networkwestmidlands.com now and then for bus times, but it still feels clunky. Pages load slow sometimes, and finding a route or timetable takes more clicks than it should.
The search can throw up weird results too, and mobile isn’t very smooth. The info’s there, sure, but getting to it feels like a chore. A cleaner layout would help a lot

"Refund came through eventually"
The refund did come through in the end, so I can’t say it wasn’t sorted. It just took a bit longer than I expected, and it kind of felt like it only moved along once I kept an eye on it. Got my money back though, so all good in the end.
"Useful enough, but not exactly dependable"
I use the Network West Midlands journey planner every so often, and to be fair, it does look like it knows what it’s doing at first glance.
A few times it’s told me a bus was due, then nothing showed up, or it suggested a route that somehow took longer than if I’d just checked the map myself. Impressive, really, how a journey planner can make you feel like the planner.
It’s fine if you only need a rough idea, but I wouldn’t rely on it when I actually need to be somewhere on time. Better live updates would make a big difference.

"Handy for checking delays before heading out"
I’ve been using this to check live travel updates before I leave the house, and it’s been handy. It’s nice to have a quick look and see if there are delays instead of just turning up and hoping for the best.
It helped me plan my trip a bit better, especially with buses and trains when things aren’t running quite on time. I mean... it’s not always perfect down to the second, but it’s usually close enough to be useful.
The site itself is simple and easy to use, which I appreciate. It’s saved me from standing around at the stop a few times, so I’d say it’s worth checking before heading out

"Payment kept failing for some reason"
I tried paying twice and both times the money showed as pending, but the ticket never actually came through. Not sure, something about it just felt really frustrating and annoying.

"I used networkwestmidlands.com to look up a bus..."
I used networkwestmidlands.com to look up a bus route I don’t take very often, and it was really straightforward. The stops, times, and any changes were easy to find, so I didn’t have to keep clicking around trying to figure it out.
It made planning the trip a lot less stressful. It’s not anything fancy, but it’s clear, simple, and really did what I needed it to do.

"I used the site to check train..."
I used the site to check train and tram times, and to be fair, it’s easy enough to use and looks fine. But the connections were wrong for me twice, which meant I ended up waiting around for ages. I don’t want to say it’s useless, because it does have the basics, but I wouldn’t fully rely on it for planning a trip

I’ve been using it for years and haven’t had any problems. It’s been reliable every time I’ve needed it, which is why I keep sticking with it.

"I’ve been using the app for bus..."
I’ve been using the app for bus times around Birmingham and, to be fair, it works well for me most days. It loads quickly, the live updates are useful, and it hasn’t crashed like the old version used to. That said, after the issues with the previous app, I do think an apology would be nice

"The times can be a bit off"
I’ve noticed the info isn’t always accurate, especially when it comes to times. I’ll check it thinking, “Okay, this should be right,” and then it turns out to be wrong anyway. It’s not a huge deal every time, but it does make me second-guess the details before relying on them

"I usually use it to check step-free access..."
I usually use it to check step-free access and station details before getting on buses or trains. It saves me a lot of stress because I can see what to expect ahead of time?? Most of the info is clear too, which makes planning trips way easier.

It's not a bad option overall, but the fares are just okay and feel a little pricey for what you get.

"I’ve used networkwestmidlands.com a few times now and..."
I’ve used networkwestmidlands.com a few times now and it’s been straightforward enough. I was able to find bus times and route info without having to click through loads of random pages, which is always a relief. The menu was easy to follow and the search worked fine for what I needed. Not much more to add really… it just did the job and didn’t make things complicated.

"Most days the bus times are..."
Most days the bus times are pretty much what it says online, which is helpful for getting around. I use it for my daily trips and it’s been reliable enough. That said, a few buses have shown up late and it’s really frustrating when you’re standing there waiting. But overall, yeah, it does the job well

"Helpful, but a bit slow to respond"
They did help me out in the end, so I appreciate that. The only thing was the replies took longer than I expected, and it just felt...
"Buying My Ticket Was an Absolute Breeze"
I bought my bus ticket on the site it was so quick I almost couldn’t believe it. Payment went through without any drama, and the ticket popped up straight away like magic. No stress, no messing around, just done and dusted. Such a relief!
